Blue Collar Roofers installed my new roof and siding about a month ago and I couldn’t be happier. Everything was completed thoroughly and right on schedule and as promised (I was told it would take 4 days start to finish, and that’s exactly how long it took). I’ve received quite a few compliments. 100% recommend this company!

I originally asked for someone to come quote replacing my entire roof knowing it needed to be completely replaced because it was leaking in multiple areas. They were extremely responsive and seemingly knowledgeable. I asked for the quote to include everything to be replaced including the plywood, as well as have the dip repaired on the left exterior wall. I went to the extent of circling the issue and sending it to my sales rep. I was assured it would not be an issue and they could handle it. I was told the sale came with a gold star warranty of 50 years. The price was more than any other quote by $4k-$8k. I decided the customer service and warranty were worthwhile.
Well, as you can see in the photos, I came home after work had started with the new roof laid down and the dip still in the wall. Upon discussion with my sales rep, I was advised that there was an old interior gutter across that part of the roof “and they “made a business decision not to do anything with it.” Mind you, they never once called to review with myself, the homeowner. I asked for pictures of what was under there and the company somehow has photos of the entire project EXCEPT this wall. Convenient.
What was I going to do other than let them continue on. I noticed the back porch was completely rotted out and took a picture because it was so crazy it was that bad. The next day I see the workers with a single 4x4 nailed over the rot and I took a picture and sent it to the sales guy because I didn’t want a repeat of the LT side wall.
When the project was wrapped up and basically all their stuff was removed from my property, I noticed a lot of the white trim of the siding they had removed was put back onto my house completely dented. I was then told “it’s aluminum and nearly impossible not to dent.” Again, was never told about the issue and they made a business decision to make my house (in the village with aesthetic requirements) looked like complete trash. There was a dent on the very front molding that was about 2.5’ long and 3” all. No joke. I posted a 1 star review and the salesman called me like “why did you do that? We still need to do a walk around like we always do.” No one told me that and it’s pretty irrelevant. The crew should have never left my house looking like that to begin with.
It took getting BOTH the owners to come to my house and look at all the issues that needed to be fixed. I agreed to remove the one star review with the agreement they were going to fix the issues. Well, you guessed it, after they came back MORE THAN ONCE, all the issues were still not fixed. So, I put up another one star review. Altogether, they told me they would give me a free gold star warranty (as if they didn’t sell the roof with one - which I never got), gave me all the labor for free because my quote didn’t include the plywood and other lumber (completely ridiculous), and offered me $750 to have someone else come out and correct the issues which I denied. I advised that I had hired them because I trusted them and expected the issues to be corrected. We settled on having JUST ONE molding REPLACED. I foolishly took down my review before they fixed the issue because the owners are genuinely very nice and I didn’t want to make this small company look bad. Well… I came home and they had only cut the molding back and colored it in with a sharpie marker. I can’t make this up. I literally laughed. At this point, I decided it wasn’t worth the fight anymore and I had lost the battle. I have told every single person who asks me about my roof not to use this company to the point the lady across the street is using a different company this year to replace her roof. (This would have been an easy sale for Blue Collar. But I couldn’t let her go through what I did)
Well, fast forward today, the bathroom reno, where we find all the completely rotted beams they never replaced or told me about. Long story short, don’t use this company. It’s not their house and they don’t care about anything but making money for their business.

I could not have been more pleased with the attention to detail and customer service. I own a rental property in the central New York area and had a leak come up. I live far away and felt helpless but Alex and the team at Blue Collar were exceptional. They were able to put my mind at ease as they communicated with me throughout the process and I felt as though I was treated fairly. I highly recommend them for any roofing needs!

After we found out we had a soft spot in our roof I asked friends for a referral and they told me about Blue Collar Roofers. I reached out to Alex and Taylor and they answered right away and Taylor came to my house the very next day and did a quote and he had a crew there within one week to fix the soft spot and I had two skylights ripped out and replaced with a roof. They did the job within one day and even found more damage than they originally thought from the skylights and they just went ahead and repaired it even though it took them longer. Then Manny came back over that evening and did a thorough inspection. They were all highly professional, very hard workers, and I felt the rates that they charged were very reasonable. I highly recommend Blue Collar Roofers to anyone who is looking to get a roof replaced or repaired.
