Capital Home Improvements was asked to install a bay window in August. We were told the window was ordered in August. We were then told the window would finally be installed October 7th at 9:30 in the morning. I took the day off from work to make sure people could get in the house. They arrived at 12:50. The original window was taken out immediately. Outdoor metal was put around the window on the inside. Then the hole was wide open until 6:30 at night when other people finally arrived to help. They tore the metal off in places so the window would fit in the hole. They told me they would come back the next day to finish because it was late. It is now December and the window is still not properly installed. I noticed this morning that the window has mold forming on it. We have multiple other projects that have been started Capital Home Improvements at our home all started in August. They all need to be fixed finished and some haven't even been started. We have given them over $50,000 and have been told people are coming here and going to do a lot of work over and over and it never happens.
There will be some kind of response from the company put at the bottom of this review. If the review remains on here, it is not resolved. I will remove it if the jobs are completed correctly.

The owner of Capital Home Improvements Paul Conklin met with us August 3rd 2024 about a large project on our house. The work began promptly on August 4th. The work included, new roof, siding, windows, gutters, garage door, sliding glass door, adding a covered porch, sidewalk and concrete removal, basement waterproofing and attic insulation.
Paul has received multiple checks from us totaling $65,000. To date (October 11th 2024) only the roof is done. The siding is incomplete and poorly done, not one window is finished. Empty "Twisted Tea" bottles were found throw around with the rest of the junk in our yard. Nobody in our family drinks so i wonder where they came from? Our yard is trashed with garbage and it's tore up.
Slowly the workers stopped showing up and Paul removed the Capital Home Improvements sign from our yard. Paul won't respond to calls or texts asking to meet. Only one day in the past 3 weeks has anybody showed up to work. This was because there was a bay window sitting in our driveway not installed. It was installed, but like the rest of the windows not completed.
Two and a half months and $65,000 invested and this is what we get from Paul Conklin and Capital Home Improvements. We have contacted the attorney general, BBB and our personal attorney. Our house has been ruined, windows are not sealed and winter is approaching. The amount of stress this has put on our family is unacceptable.
Update, 10/18. Still haven't heard or seen from Capital Home Improvements. OCWA stopped by today because our water meter was disconnected from the side of the house where they were putting siding. Also, some of the completed siding on the front of the house started falling off. The house is very cold at night and in the morning since all of the windows are unfinished and unsealed. This includes my daughter's room that has two of the unfinished windows.

Capital installed a new furnace last week and it was a great job with a great price! The owner Paul was very responsive and helpful. They also are going to install new siding on my home in the Spring. I highly recommend this company. GREAT SERVICE!

Capital Home Improvements was amazing at getting my new roof installed. The owner, Paul Conklin gave us options and helped us choose what was affordable for us. The installers were efficient, hardworkingm, really nice, and they did a great job. They answered all of our questions, explained what they would be doing, and kept us informed of their schedule. Three days later, the roof was up and everything was cleaned up. I highly recommend Paul and his company for any house projects. We'll be using them in the future!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Capital Home Improvement, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the results. Paul and his team were exceptional from start to finish. They built an amazing addition behind my home, and the entire process was seamless.
Paul was incredibly honest, diligent, organized, and professional throughout the project. He and his crew worked quickly and accurately, ensuring that every detail was perfect. The team, which included carpenters, plumbers, and builders, demonstrated impressive skill and coordination.
Without a doubt, Paul is the best professional I’ve ever worked with in home improvement. If you're looking for top-notch craftsmanship and reliable service, look no further than Capital Home Improvement. Highly recommended!
