My roof unexpectedly developed a serious leak. I couldn't get other roofers to even call me back because this is their busy season. An SOS representative called me back within minutes of leaving my message and came over an hour later to see the damage and give me a quote. They literally squeezed me in their busy schedule within days. The price was reasonable and everyone was completely professional. All in all, I highly recommend them and will use them again.
SOS replaced my roof last summer. The entire staff was great to work with from start to finish. The sales rep responded to me quickly and met with me in-person to provide an estimate. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. The crew worked efficiently; I was amazed at how quickly they completed the project. They replaced the decking material that was damaged and installed high-quality underlayment's to properly protect my roof. The foreman on site answered all my questions and patiently explained everything to me. Dave, the owner, also stopped by personally while the crew was working and then again to do an inspection upon job completion and make sure I was completely satisfied with all the work the crew had completed. The entire process from start to finish went so much smoother than I anticipated it would. I am so excited to know that my new roof has a 50 year manufacturer warranty in addition to the SOS workmanship warranty. I would highly recommend SOS to anyone who needs a roof replacement - easy to work with, knowledgeable staff, great communication, efficient work!
The whole process was great Jon did an awesome job explaining all the details and color choices . Tre the supervisor of the crew was great showed me pictures of my damage and fixed everything. The ground crew cleaned everything up perfectly not one nail or piece of shingle remaining. Great job SOS roofing .
I highly recommend SOS Roofing. I had two leaks in my bedroom ceiling. As I am new to the area, I called SOS because of the great reviews. I was not disappointed. Doug came quickly to assess the problem and explained clearly what needed to be done. They came on my most convenient day. The team was on time, worked efficiently, and cleaned everything up. There were two problems that occurred during the service, but they were fixed with no issue, and the price was very fair. Thank you Dave and your company for the quality work!
Not great. I really hate leaving one star, so I left two because Dave is a nice guy, and ultimately the roof the company put on my rental property will do, however the style in which this company practices is not consistent with what I consider good business practices. They should not have installed the gutters on my house because it was outside the scope of what they could do and that should have been communicated to me up front. The gutters leak and are installed improperly, and their excuse was to blame the roof job done by my previous contractor. I'm having to pay to have it corrected. If they were unable to install the gutters properly, they should have had a conversation with me about it, not leave my roof line looking all cut up and without properly functioning gutters. In my experience with contractors doing major projects, the contractor is always in good communication with the home owner and this is not something this company does. I think if you want a cheap roof then you'll get what you pay for here, as I did. As a realtor in the Tompkins County area I would strongly advise staying away from this company.
